1. Progress Update
BUAB – The Working Group met with Jacqueline Brooks, our SNC NP support about our plans for the Built Up Area Boundary. With regard to the Ridgeway Furlong site, Jacqueline has contacted SNC’s Asset Management Team to determine whether or not they would support development of the site as part of our Neighbourhood Plan. Should the response be No, it will become a strategic site.
With regard to Rice’s Paddock, Jeremy has been given a map showing flood extents in the village and his field is shown free of any flooding. However, the current EA flood zone map still shows large parts of it are in Flood Zone 2. Sue to send both to Jacqueline for confirmation on which would take precedence in planning decisions.
Plan Writing – The Group reviewed progress so far and agreed that the policy areas were comprehensive with no obvious gaps. We are hoping to have a draft Plan by early Summer.
Finance – Our grant period has come to an end and The End of Period report needs completing. We have a new option and don’t need to return unspent funds as these can now be carried forward. Tom and Sue to consider whether a Change Request form needs to be completed.
2. Next Steps
BUAB - Once our BUAB is finalised we can submit this part of our Plan to SNC for their view on whether a Strategic Environment Assessment is required. This is one of the Basic Conditions our Plan needs to meet.
Village Fete – This takes place on Saturday 8th June and we plan to take the opportunity to bring residence up to date and advise them of the consultation, examination and referendum processes. We will discuss and decide on presentation materials at the next meeting.
3. Date of Next Meeting
This is scheduled for Thursday 25th April 2019, at 7.30pm in the Youth Club.
